Otwarte Komiksy hosted Berenika Kołomycka and fragments of the animated pilot episode based on her Tiny Fox and Great Boar comic series were presented publicly for the 1st time! I had the honor of directing it. Produced by EGoFILM. The production is co-financed by the Polish Film Institute.
So, the best-selling comic published by Kultura Gniewu in 2025 was… PRODUKT #25 (and the previous issue from 2024 ranked 11th!). I’ve had the pleasure of serving as its editor-in-chief since 1999 (with a 20-year break between 2004 and 2024, when the magazine was no longer being published).

we're getting all the downsides of cyberpunk (social alienation, ruthless hyper capitalism, digital mass surveillance state) but none of the promised upsides (cheap street food, cool jackets, super drugs that make you really fast and strong before they kill you)

Confirmed. What’s more, as kids (I have a brother) we’d get attached to the fish, we fed it, petted it, shared our toys with it. And then on December 24th around 2 pm our father would sneak into the bathroom, and a minute later loud chopping with a cleaver could be heard from the kitchen.
