I have gradually sucked everyone around me into the TTRPG hobby, so I fortunately have a bunch of loose groups that are willing to play all sorts of weird stuff since they never even played a "normal"/OSR TTRPG. For all they know all RPGs involve making little golems out of clay

I always played with friend's copies. My first own TTRPG book must have been "The One Ring" 1e. The last RPG I bought was "Grasping nettles" by Adam Bell.

I wanna get more into it. Only touched the surface today. I made that copy myself! Printed, cut to size and stapled.

Gave "Grasping nettles" by @adambell.games a spin today. Gosh I love that rondel. It's such a cool way of integrating a board game component into an RPG. It creates the perfect balance of freedom and restriction necessary for a world building game. Can't wait to play it with my friends.

🐘💩Just had to google what shade of brown elephant poop is in order to figure out which color of wooden cube I have to get for the physical release of "The tusks of our mothers". Gosh I love game design 🥰

I‘m currently writing a solo TTRPG that features 20+ scientific footnotes. I was surprised that most of the playtesters really dig them.
