Nearly 8 in 10 Americans agree that spending by wealthy donors and corporations in our elections gives rise to corruption — including majorities of Republican and independent voters.

Money in politics is the root of our dysfunction.

We must overturn Citizens United.

For years, the opioid epidemic outpaced treatment access. Suboxone could've helped, easing withdrawal, quelling cravings, preventing relapse. Today, even with generics, only 1 in 4 adults get it.

Reminder that the Social Security Administration (per DOGE) instituted supposed anti-fraud checks for benefit claims made over the phone.

Only two out of over 110,000 claims had a high probability of fraud — a rate of .0018%.

But it slowed retirement claim processing by 25%.

What's in the Trump/GOP big, beautiful bill?

-Tax cuts skewed to the rich
-Medicaid & SNAP cuts
-Ends IRS Direct File
-New powers for Trump over the courts
-Blocks state/local regulation against AI, including rent-gouging software like RealPage

It's a big, ugly nightmare.

So we could lose $200B in tourism, $100B in immigrants paying taxes, $100B in weapons manufacturing, $500B in lost tax revenue from firing IRS employees… is it sinking in yet?
International tourism is worth $200 billion every year to the US economy.

Extending the Trump tax cuts for the next 10 years would add roughly $4 trillion to the deficit.

Remember this the next time Republicans try paying for them with cuts to Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid.

Trump keeps spreading lies about Social Security.

What he isn't telling you is that he's actively trying to dismantle it — firing thousands of SSA employees and shuttering regional offices.

Why? To pave the way for privatization so Wall Street can gamble with our retirement.
