The exertion of shoveling this past 2 days has revealed how much of my energy I am putting in to just, like, basic emotional stability right now. It's not great!

The last few inches have all been sleet. Heavy as fuck and sticks to the asphalt. Plus it packed down the foot of snow we got to about 8 inches. At least it's not mixed with rain

The lesson I have taken from Minneapolis is that what is most necessary and urgent is very, very simple. Run towards them when they want you to run away. Be in between them and the people they want to hurt. Make them think about you and the eyes you're drawing instead of hurting your neighbors

Learning my understanding of sleet as a fully solid form of precipitation capable of accumulating is local and that most people consider sleet to require some mixture of liquid water??

Peritas is always a notably good smelling dog but I swear to god after rolling around in the snow he smells like something you could put in dryer sheets. Floral almost? Extremely fresh

Well im glad I'm not running an in person lancer game tonight because I don't have the social capacity for that. I did set up an online game to run because I can mute myself to shout or cry as needed, and that should be a nice distraction
