I just completed the full season binge of Marvel's Wonder Man. I really enjoyed it as it was mostly about Hollywood and less about superheroes and the MCU. It did have its links to the MCU of course but very loosely. I'm unsure if they'll bring the character back but I'm fine with how it ends :)

Someone mentioned root beer in the NFC chat which made me want to get some. Had to order some imported stuff from online as you can't find it in many places here but my order has just arrived. I realise this is a lot of sugar, I will not be drinking these in a hurry!

I can relax now, the house valuation guy has come and gone. I had to do my best to hide away suspect stuff but it still looks like I'm a mad Disney fanatic with all the stuff I have about the house 😆

Today officially marks 2 years since I moved into my house. Which is the first house that I own (with the help of a substantial loan of course). Having to get used to solitary living again has been tough but it is also nice to have my own space. I just miss having folks for meals or watching movies

Picked up Star Birds by @kurzgesagt.org and @toukana.bsky.social today on Steam as it's on sale. It might be early access but I'm loving it already. Steam said it was similar to Mini Motorways and I can see the comparison but this is so much more advanced than that. I'm having a lot of fun so far!

I am wondering if I should have aimed for going to Scotiacon rather than NordicFuzzcon this year cos it seems I know many more folks going to Scotia. I just feel like I'm going to NFC with no plans for what I'm going to do or who I'm going to meet. Hopefully this wasn't a bad decision

This is quite an expensive time of year as it's when all my annual renewals are due. A sane person would probably just pay them monthly but you often get a bit of a discount by paying annually and I'm a sucker for a "deal". This year my car insurance renewal is down almost £100 which is incredible

This afternoon I've been experimenting with packing my duck for NFC. The good news is that I have a bag that he will fit in that is also within the checked baggage limits for easyJet. The downside is that there's not a lot of room for anything else in that bag 😆

Since the new year, my weight loss had plateaued significantly but I am pleased to report that I'm now starting to lose again. It's great to be able to say that in pounds, my weight now begins with a 2 rather than a 3 perhaps for the first time in over 15 years. Still got plenty to go yet
