If the Blue Jays are able to pull this series back together, I think we're going to need a team visit to Guysborough County.

Service includes "Blessing of the Backpacks," as we hold in prayer all who are beginning a new school year—students, teachers, staff, bus drivers. We’ll ask God’s blessing that classrooms and communities may be places of safety, friendship, and growth. Bring a backpack or other school-related item.
Join us at 11 am ADT, in person or online (www.youtube.com/@st.jamespre...), to celebrate Welcoming Sunday—a chance to mark the shift from summer into a new season of worship, learning, and community life together. Children may join J.A.M./Junior J.A.M. Bring a friend!
...and it's Birthday Sunday!

Have you seen this chair? Or one like it?
We are on the lookout for additional chairs, with arms, similar to the one pictured. If you know of any that could be made available in the greater #FrederictonNB area, please reach out to us, we'd love to talk.

A song we NEED these days! (make sure you keep listening until the final verse)
I put a video together for my song "Peace Like a River". Peaceful drone footage from US videographer Tom Fisk is the backdrop for a song aspiring for peace in conditions of real distress and trouble. I'd be grateful for you to watch, listen, and share. youtu.be/eM-l-6T2oSg

We give thanks for our risen Lord at work in the life of our congregation. Yesterday, in his name we ordained/inducted four new elders to the St. James Session. We give thanks for their willingness to say "yes" to Christ's call to them to serve in this way. May God bless them and our congregation.
