like, I highly doubt we genuinely had an employee who didn't understand that "latch" here also implies "close". if the issue is that we apparently have someone ignoring the sign, writing more on the same sign won't do anything but piss off people who DO bother reading it

the more relevant point is that he (and Ify! who I generally like!) are just whining abt semantics and effective sloganeering. Which even if it did matter, which i kinda doubt, is distributed across a million normal-ass posters and can't be controlled!

They're malign and ignorant and unqualified, but also... none of these people are sober. Like, ever. Booze, pills, ketamine, whatever. Pick your poison, and they almost all do. The government is ~90% being run by people who do not spend any of their waking hours fit to operate a motor vehicle.
