Holy shit, what a game!!

I know I'm super late to finishing Silksong by now, but I don't at all regret taking my time :) I loved every minute of it and cannot wait to see more down the road, whenever that may be

Python was awarded a funding grant, funding grant asked Python foundation to remove all diversity and inclusion initiatives they have.

Python foundation said no and rejected the grant.

Updates on the roguelike project!

- More massive refactors everywhere
- Prettified the UI a bit (titles & frames!)
- Maps are now stored in persistent "chunks" of 15 depth layers! You can navigate freely between floors and they'll stay the same!

Hey genuine question. How do other disabled folks out there cope with working full time in-person?

My health is really starting to suffer because of the schedule and my workplace doesn't offer sick time at all, so I can't take bad days off 🫠

Did an ungodly amount of refactoring to tidy up foundational systems in the roguelike, much happier with where a lot of logic is now

Also added a custom theme system! You can drop in any 5x8 palette image and it can be used as one!

The backbone of my classic roguelike is finally starting to feel like a Real Game™

I spent more time than I should have on some fun fluff (like custom color themes loaded in via palette image!) but it's been a really fun project to devote my after work time to :)

Finally settled into my 9-5 enough to start doing some dev stuff again!!

My current project is building an ASCII roguelike w/ C#, SadConsole, and RogueSharp !

I've been having a ton of fun doing deep research dives into procgen and data-driven systems too - I'll probably post abt it soon
