I'm always a sucker for the tomboyish, punch-your-feelings out tough girl, who doesn't always think things through.

The kind that would agree to a staring contest with a hypnotic snake, for example

I think it's also where we get more fodder as artists and writers for a 'playful' villain/antagonist tist -- in the other two encounters, Kaa is basically just a hungry predator

ooh, that's a good one! I think they all have some great elements, but my fave is probably the second encounter, as it's quite the drawn-out indction with lots of subtle manipulation, and has been the most inspiring for my stories
