i hope all of this Joss lying stuff leads to Joss/Carly having some kind of falling out. Mothers and Daughters don't always agree on stuff and these two never get to be at odds. This is a perfect reason.

This is annoying because it wasn't written properly. That being said,I think it's a really good idea for GH to stop trying to paint the way Jason values CarSon more than anyone. It's gotten pathetic and makes him a douchebag.
