I also do wonder (and sprinkle some grace) if this is just ebbs and flows of relationship within this time, especially with everything that’s happening externally.

Watching projection & denial take shape and grow wings with elder relatives is so….tricky. As much as you want to lead that horse to the water to drink its own toxin, it never works because they immediately feel affronted by you calling it out…thus repeating the cycle you’re trying to break.

I wrestle this thought constantly, but I feel like I came to this conclusion bc the dating pool has arsenic in it.

Sincerely, a man with a master's degree who is working two jobs and barely making $55k work. I feel like a failure and my lack of financial stability and freedom makes me want to [redacted] myself all of the time. I compare my life to others' because they don't seem unhappy

Needing multiple streams of income to stay afloat is a societal failure not a personal one. You should be able to afford a comfortable lifestyle with one job. You are not lazy.
