Our tour guide said that there is a bit of a human-wildlife contract as it’s perceived the cormorants eat a lot of fish impacting fisheries. Is that the case?

While I wish ASCs were 100% social science 😜, one of my favourite things about them is stepping out of my comfort zone.

I was truly fascinated to learn more about marine sand and its extraction.

Annelies de Backer brilliantly told us how sand extraction disturbs food web dynamics.
