Patrick Nagel would have been 80 yesterday. Remember when these images were everywhere? He did a 15 minute celebrity aerobathon fundraiser for the American Heart Association & dropped dead due to an unknown heart condition

Saw tonight at the Trylon, 1983 film "Shaolin vs. Lama" in 35mm. One of those old kung fu movies where every move of an arm is SHO00MM, every swing of a weapon is SHWWING, every hit in a fight the same THUMPP, same sounds at full volume every time, every time they fight, which is the whole movie

At least the dotcom bubble was fun. Felt like we were participants. Just set up a website. I knew people who started up their own internet service provider business. The barrier of entry to get in on the dotcom world was about zero. The barrier to entry for AI is the electricity of an entire country

Now it looks like a building among many, but Foshay Tower was THE skyscraper in Mpls for 66 years, generations of school children took trips to the top

A name I hadn't hear in years. "Is this your friend who did the porn?" someone texted. That's how I learned. My college roommate. His porn empire is expanding.

As sometimes happen when I post photos, this photo I like most got zero response. Sometimes it's like pearls to the swine. You proles. I mean... THANKS FOR THE LIKES

Ask me why I'm drinking beer from a measuring cup. BECAUSE I KNEW IF I MIXED EXACTLY HALF THIS MILK STOUT AND HALF THIS PEANUT BUTTER STOUT IT WOULD BE PERFECT

My real goal on the Big Rivers Regional Trail was to get another view of Pike Island that I hiked so many times this year. That's the confluence of the Mississippi & Minnesota rivers down there

I have more photos, but I'm going to cut to the chase. Towards the end of my hike, I captured the autumn sun glinting off a poodle

Arriving at MSP in the low sun, landing gear down. It is never not fascinating to me that there's people up in those tubes hopping up & down all over the sky

Suburbanite was confused when I said I rarely go to some parts of Mpls because to them all the parts are right next to each other. Anyone notice this? Like Loring Park seems like a million miles away because for me there's no mass transit there without a transfer & it costs to park. So I just don't.
