Ok so I've been getting doomer posts from Chicago weather all weekend saying tomorrow, this city is going to to suffer a Pleistocene level Ice Age that we may never recover from. Will keep everyone posted.

Dem party policy is simple: By capitulating to everything Republicans want it creates a spike in anger on which to exploit campaign donations + it makes all their wealthy donors (who are all the exact same donors Republicans have) happy. Only way to break this is to end the party
