there are people online who have sexual trauma and try to avoid triggering subjects. idk why people are now suddenly complaining about having to tag their nsfw art.

In tandem with the ongoing push for pornography censorship, there's an ongoing effort to label any LGBTQ+ representation as inherently pornographic, regardless of its content or if it shows anything explicit, so it can be erased.

These efforts are intertwined and cannot be divorced from each other.

I haven't seen people talking about it but the no discussing self-harm part really annoys me. I made Olive with visible scars because these exist in real life, they shouldn't be hidden away or be a source of shame and yet, they seem almost taboo.
