So I'm watching the shutdown stuff, and I hear that food banks that provide to our military service members are getting overloaded.

To be clear, the Catholic Church has given more money to the poor around the globe than pretty much any other organization, ever.

In JUST the United States, the Catholic Church spends over a $170 billion annually.
