Dramatist, author, apostate newspaperman specializing in artisanal contempt and discerning maledicta. The claim that I am the angriest man in television is faint praise indeed; the second angriest is yelling at an agent because residual checks are late.
Fascism is here.
The Department of Justice isn't.
This is all just brown-shirting now.
Two days ago it was Elissa Slotkin. Last week it was Jerome Powell. Before that, Mark Kelly. Weaponizing the justice system against your opponents is an authoritarian tactic.

The only person not being investigated for the shooting of Renee Good is the federal agent who shot her.
Breaking news: The Justice Department has issued subpoenas for Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey as part of an investigation alleging that they are impeding federal law enforcement officers’ abilities to do their jobs in the state.

Some certainly will. And yet the white supremacist rhetoric has reached a point where I think Trump and his ilk will be content to let Monday pass without comment. Our president just got done talking about how the civil rights movement treated "white people badly." Those words came out of his mouth.
You just watch…the same assholes who have been stating that Renee Nicole Good was a domestic terrorist who “should have complied” and not “obstructed law enforcement” Will be posting quotes from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday. The blatant hypocrisy will be on full display.

For his resignation, I would go so far as to assure him that it is the Douglas MacArthur Fellowship for wartime leadership and courage in combat, of which he is entirely capable if not for those unfortunate and ill-timed bonespurs.

Just the certificate though. I'm keeping the cash.
How about you give either Trump or Bari Weiss your MacArthur Fellowship award to make them feel smart in exchange for them quitting their jobs? jk 😜

Do you know how insecure and empty you have to be to accept someone else's Nobel Peace Prize? Especially after the prizegivers make clear that the award is given on the merits and cannot be conveyed?

It's twice as humiliating as accepting a manufactured peace prize by a sports league.

Take a look at what Baltimore has accomplished in the last three years since 2022. Both by reemphasizing essential police work AND funding community initiatives. But see that's people actually working at the task, not parading about with slogans guaranteed to lose.

Or don't look. That's your speed
All my fault, fair enough. How is everything going with the society you built on giving cops everything they want?
Luftmensch. Take this shit down the road.

It was mutts like you who foisted the political incompetence and stupidity that was Defund The Police and Abolish Prison on those working to actually attempt law enforcement reform. You butchered it because you get off on slogans more than fixing anything.

Czechoslovakia cannot agree with Nazi Germany about the need for lebensraum.
Danish Foreign Minster Lars Løkke Rasmussen speaks after WH meeting: "For us, ideas that would not respect the territorial of the Kingdom of Denmark and the right of self-determination of the Greenlandic people are of course totally unacceptable. We therefore still have a fundamental disagreement."

Union, union, union.

Yes, mook.. Hunter-gatherers and agricultural states run by feudal hierarchies required no official constabulary. Yet since the industrial revolution and modern urbanity, only luftmenschen and ideologues can imagine unpoliced states without pointing to a single fucking example.
cops didn't exist for the majority of human civilisation, there's nothing "self-defeating" about abolishing cops.
To Dems squeamish about the phrase "Abolish ICE" -- it's not the self-defeating rhetoric of Defund or Abolish Police. INS, Customs, Border Patrol are intact to police immigration. ICE did not exist to snatch any random brown people and shoot moms in the head until 2003. We're okay walking it back.

A murderer is a murderer. If the problem is that the state is sponsoring and defending a murderer and saying so aloud causes the state to sponsor and defend more murders, the source of this problem becomes utterly apparent.
Homan: "We gotta stop the hateful rhetoric. Saying this officer is a murderer is dangerous. It's just ridiculous. It's gonna infuriate people more which means there's gonna be more incidents like this."

"Fucking bitch!" is the equivalent to the cry of "Gun!" in the current ICE training regimen.
I mean, to be fair, the sort of subnormal droogs who infest ICE now do very much experience a woman laughing at them as being like murder, and murder triggers a right to self defense.

It was probably going to be either Renee Good or some girl at a bar with these thug scum.
The message from the White House this morning is that, once again, it falls on ordinary American citizens to remain calm and professional when dealing with the heavily armed agents of the government because they are very emotional and might fly off into a murderous rage at the slightest insult.

Devastating.

We'll surely see them on the barricades.

That second half by the Bears. The Cubs signing Bregman.

Do not trifle with a Pope from Chicago. Do not do it.
January 11, 2026 at 2:08 PM
If there is a God, which I doubt, I am certain He does not trifle Himself by intervening in the outcomes of sporting events. But it is at least plausible that a Pope from Chicago got busy tugging at the hem of His garment and begging before the Bears began that second half.

lesson learned from this thread: never interact with any rando on bluesky when they are so culturally and politically illiterate and flat-brained that a satirical and precise visual reference to one of the most famous anti-authoritarian images in modern history confounds or infuriates them.

My his memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.

T.K.owned the role and centered The Corner perfectly. Often, watching him, I was brought up hard on my memories of Gary McCullough, god rest his sweet soul.
And Mr. Carter's as well, of course.
A stand-up comic and prolific actor, Carter starred in everything from Punky Brewster to David Simon's harrowing portrait of addiction. www.avclub.com/t-k-carter-o...

A Black man was killed by ICE (off duty) in Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve. And like Renée Good, he was an American citizen. But most people have not heard about Keith Porter.

I need y’all to realize this. Black people experience this lack of visibility all the time when it comes to being victims.

Obviously, I cannot fully endorse this as it represents a heedless ad hominem assault of raw namecalling. Further and narratively, some additional rhyming to elucidate carefully on the manner of the whoredom alleged would be nice. But, no...

She's a fascist moron.

I can fully endorse this.

That sidewalk was agitating.
Unacceptable. A road — possibly associated with Tren de Aragua — left unpaved by Minnesota radicals weaponized itself against two of our courageous officers, causing one to discharge his firearm in self-defense.

We stand by our brave boys.

I simply conjure something I think you should say and then I declare that you said it. Try to keep up with it.
Here's an idea. Before you assume that I haven't said something, or wonder why I say what I say, or wonder if I've ever considered XYZ, here's the link to every article I've written over the past several years. Feel free to check here first:

Bingo.
He didn't shoot her in the head at point blank range because he felt like he was in danger. He shot her in the head at point blank range because he was furious that she wasn't afraid of him. He shot her in the head at point blank range because he felt emasculated.
