It is actually bad if the Justice Department leaks information from ongoing investigations to harm political opponents. That is a very bad thing that they should not do. The end result of that is obvious, and a disaster for everyone in the nation.

Not to over-meta stuff, but the redistricting fight is a glaring example of how so much Republican strategy revolves around assuming Democrats won’t fight back.
