New Eastbound bus bike lane on Broadway from Mount Vernon Street into Sullivan Station. Still needs some 🟥🎨, but this will make traveling in East Somerville much better 🚌🚲

Wow wow wow, I got to ride on this stretch of bi-directional cycle track on Central Street in Somerville last night. I don't think I've seen anything like this in the Boston area. NOTICE WHAT YOU DON'T SEE

On Monday, November 24, at approximately 7 a.m., City contractors plan to pave the roadway on Somerville Avenue between Park Street & Beech Street. While paving is underway, Somerville Avenue between Lowell Street & Park Street will be closed to through motor vehicle traffic in both directions.

Last Friday, we celebrated the opening of Junction Park! This long awaited green space includes 90 new shade trees, a hammock area, water stations, and over 6,000 native plantings.

Counting bicyclists and pedestrians this morning again. 🥰 This intersection has come a long way since last year and there is a parking protected bike lane coming later this week. Two new developments created three blocks of protected lanes.
