"Winning justice for Palestinians—and the enduring security that Jewish Israelis claim to want—will require reckoning with this entrenched national ethos of denial. Until we are finally willing to remember the horrors we’ve already wrought, there will surely be more to come."
"The past two years of continuous violence made Gaza impossible to ignore, requiring more active modes of forgetting—and now a concerted effort to solidify a whitewashed national narrative that exonerates Israel of wrongdoing."

Moments ago: tenants of the South Shore apartment building that federal immigration agents raided at the end of September held a presser to announce they're forming a tenants union.

They're demanding, among other things, sewage removal and heat and electricity restroration.

More updates TK.

I interviewed Aber Kawas, a Palestinian American organizer and DSA member who's running to succeed Assembly Member Jessica González-Rojas.

Although González-Rojas endorsed her former chief of staff, fellow DSA member Brian Romero, for the seat, DSA plans to endorse Kawas.

is there some kind of reverse support index where latecomers to an issue speaking on said issue don't actually impact public sentiment because whoever cares about what they have to say were never going to feel deeply about it. i refuse to believe this is bc everyone else stopped caring.

The occupation state killed two families yesterday and not even a blip is said about them. To say I hate western media is an understatement, I can’t find the words to describe how much western media is complicit and carrying water for a Nazi state

#WATCH | Journalist Hani Mahmoud reports on the recent deadly Israeli attacks in Gaza, which resulted in at least 24 Palestinians killed in a major breach of the ceasefire.

The reason this administration can target countries like Venezuela is that people in the US have always been complacent and were fine for a very long time with this country targeting and destroying anyone they wanted anywhere they wanted. And that’s why this administration continues the fine
