Starfleet Academy episode one was pretty solid. I think there's plenty there to like and I'm going to keep watching. First epsidoes are always difficult but it feels enough like a Star Trek for me. Also heaps of callbacks and Easter eggs for 60 years of Trek.

I just watched the first episode and it was pretty entertaining. I liked a lot of the characters so I'm going to definitely stick around for the rest of it.
I just wish we also had even more Lower Decks and Strange New Worlds to go along with it.

Looked outside and there was a package sitting in the middle of the front lawn out in the sun. Burnt my bare feet on the driveway walking out to get it in the midday sun. Haven't done that in years.
It turned out to be the new charcuterie board I ordered.

I did. I kept needing naps all day and didn't click that the covid booster from the day before was doing a number on me. Feel fine today, so all is well.

Couldn't work out why I kept wanting to take naps between everything today. Then I remembered that my arm was sore from the covid booster and it was probably just a reaction to that.
It's now 7:30 PM and I feel heaps better.

This week is all my medical stuff hitting at once. Yesterday had a GP visit and got a covid booster, this morning I had an ultrasound fro my kidneys and I'm about to head off for a dentist appointment. Then, a blood test later in the week.
I'm fine, it's just regular stuff hitting at the same time.

Pre Star Wars, my most wanted toys were the die cast Eagle, Enterprise, Thunderbird 2 and Batmobile. They're all so cool.

After almost a full year, I managed to pull myself back into working on the next Crinoline Crime Club comic. Despite working pretty much full-time on Gunwale and helping on some TV pitch stuff, I really didn't feel like I achieved much in 2025 at all.
