I think I tried to rent this in 1986, but my parents wouldn't let me

Man, your Ross stores are so much better than mine. All I see there are random anime statues I've never heard of and reject Funko Pops

They're not being specifically tread on (yet), so they don't care

I've had a lot of weird coincidences like that happening to me lately. The hive mind is real.

I'm not sure that was even a lagoon, tbh. It just looked like a big lake. Talk about a plot hole...

When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child. But when I became grown, I put away childish things. Then when I became a bit more grown, I rebought those same childish things from a vintage reseller and kinda don’t know how to feel about it

It's no fun at all. Hell, even a post of mine that made it on CNN is mostly just a bunch of text now, looking like something you'd find on the web in 1996: www.cnn.com/2010/LIVING/...

I have all the text of my Mental Floss articles saved on Google Drive, but many of the current website versions have been gutted of images. I wish I'd saved PDFs from when they were new. When old articles are purged someday, I'll have no proof that I actually had anything published at all.

periodic reminder that if you write stuff that's published on the web for a publication you yourself do not own, PDF that shit as soon as it goes live

I think the real answer is, "Marketed primarily at adults who have adult money"
spacemonkeyx.bsky.social
I would buy so many of them at that price point

But they're going to cost as much as a figure twice the size
