This is a big win!
Significant legal victory today. Federal judge threw out two private lawsuits made possible by the Kansas age-verification law. Mom said her teen son accessed porn sites, wanted millions in damages.

Judge said an out-of-state company can't be sued just because it's accessible in Kansas.

Our latest SpankByte is live! ✨

In light of the recent #debanking by Wise, we wanted to share some info on what's happening, why it's wrong, and steps affected creators can take to attempt to get their funds/account back, including how to escalate the issue.

TN is considering a new bill that allows parents to sue large platforms that allow "material harmful to minors"β€” including sculpture, drawings, photos, music or video gamesβ€” that describe or depict nudity, sex or "excessive violence"

The censorship that started with "porn" is coming for everything.

We’re working on a guide to help creators report and document Wise #debanking.

Because Wise supports international transfers, reporting and complaint paths can look different depending on where you’re located, but we’ll do our best to help you navigate the right next steps.
February 3, 2026 at 5:22 PM
Wise is UK-based and not subject to OCC oversight, which is why these restrictions often appear through TOS and fine print.

If this is happening to you: you’re not alone, and you didn’t β€œdo anything wrong.” This is a systemic issue, and it’s reportable.
February 3, 2026 at 5:22 PM
This isn’t about legality or wrongdoing. It’s a platform policy decision, often enforced automatically, that can cut off access to your own money with little notice.

When fintechs change TOS, lawful creators can lose payment rails overnight, without a clear appeal or transition period.
February 3, 2026 at 5:22 PM
🚨Many adult creators are reporting blocked transfers or restricted accounts on Wise, with messages citing:

β€œWe do not support transfers related to Adult Content.”

This is from Wise’s updated TOS, which lists adult content as unsupported. For many creators, their work didn't change, the policy did.
February 3, 2026 at 5:22 PM
Exactly. Everything is still very vague and not enforced properly.
February 3, 2026 at 5:08 PM
To be clear: Wise is based in the UK, but it’s widely used by Americans and creators worldwide.
February 3, 2026 at 4:46 PM
More #debanking in our industry.

The OCC has stated that lawful businesses should not be denied banking based on reputational risk, but many fintechs aren’t directly covered, leaving creators vulnerable.
Heads up SWers, that Wise bank has changed their TOS on adult content. If you bank there, just fyi! You may need to move or risk being debanked!
February 3, 2026 at 4:05 PM
Banking access is not a privilege, it’s essential infrastructure.

Adult workers and lawful businesses should not be denied financial services based on stigma or broad β€œrisk” classifications. The OCC’s acknowledgment of debanking practices marks an important moment for accountability and reform.
For years, adult performers, creators, producers, and adjacent businesses have routinely had their access to basic financial services curtailed- not because they are inherently higher risk customers, but because a whole category of lawful work has long been treated as unacceptable.
