If someone ever gives #Trump one of these, then the UK is going to lose its fucking shit.

If Russia used a nuke on Kyiv tomorrow, can you name a country that would definitely strike back?

If the NHS AI systems suddenly stopped spotting all cancers, then you'd shut them down until they were fixed. Once fixed they'd be tested before being started up.

#grok produces CSAM, shut it down, get #x to fix it, demand proof, and only then restart it.

Seen as an actual, verified snuff video of a shooting by a government official exists and has been seen by the very highest powers in the land, is it not surprising that at this point in time the shooter has not been arrested or at the very least been interviewed under caution pending investigation?

If Russia has compromising video of Trump and do not now release it in support of Venezuela then that would seem to indicate that they have much bigger fish to fry and will continue to hold the threat of release over him. Makes you wonder what the long-term plan is.

Bit late to the party but enjoying binging #TheLowdown.

So IF the #Epstein "files" include images of abuse (which they must, otherwise why say such images will not be released), then why are those images not been handed over to law enforcement. If videos were made of illegal acts for blackmail purposes then that doesn't forgive the crime. Does it?

This weekend , I watched the new #Dracula & #Frankenstein #movies, and to be honest, I enjoyed the Dracula one more. It's clearly the inferior film, but it was done with a real Hammerish feel to it that was just much more fun to watch.

Trump vs. BBC is trending.

Hang on, I thought it was supposed to have been Bill Clinton, not Barack Obama.

#Audio people. I'm looking for a sub £300 soundbar for a bedroom. I don't want rear speakers but can live with a separate subwoofer.

I'm just going round in circles. Any recommendations?

Movies only. No music.

Optical connection.

So 5000 Miles a year = £150 charge.

Can a government department do the admin for a scheme where you have to log your estimated milage, pay a charge up-front and then submit your actual mileage and pay extra/claim a refund AND turn a profit?

A weekend of endings for me. Watched House of A Dynamite and The Long Walk.

Our house is 120yrs old. If we were going to knock any of it down, it'd be with great care in order to save as much of the original bricks, slates, etc. as possible either to reuse or for repairs to other areas. Trump is just trashing the building because he can only see value in new stuff.

I can wholeheartedly recommend this book.

I won't pretend to understand everything it says and there seem to be some big leaps in its pages, but as a counterweight to all the AI will saves us stuff from the AI companies it's an interesting read.

What if there was a rule that said if you want to rent out a property, then you can only have a 10% mortgage on it?

Would that stop renters being at the mercy of interest rate fluctuations?

Rents seem way too high at the moment.
