I finally read this. It stunk.
Hickman made “a cabal inside a cabal inside a cabal” the primary plot in a Spider-Man book instead of Peter.
Everyone who insisted this book was about a (still to be defined) midlife-crisis power-fantasy, family, and an ignored class rising against elites was wrong.

I try hard to not hate on art so I'll only say I am not a fan of this splash page especially after the wonderful writing did a great job building up for the dramatic splash page finale.
