I learned about the oldest taxidermy is a church crocodile in Nossa's Santuario Madonna delle Lacrime Immacolate.
(This is the guy that started my deep dive and soon to be obsession with ceiling crocodiles)

Growing up with mom being a painter and traditional artist herself I got into the good habit of -not- pointing out every single little flaw I see and not to disparage this piece that I am VERY proud of but I can already see what I could have done better and what I can improve for the future.
