They didn’t get as many of them as she would like, so she’d take all the time she could.

She set her head back down, into the crook of his neck, talking against his skin.

“More in demand than I want you to be.” It was a bit of a pout, one she couldn’t help.

It was hard to keep the flames of hope and optimism burning but he tried his best. Too many had fallen into despair and darkness. A fate he would do anything to make sure they avoided.

There was very little he could do in a situation where time would heal this wound. But all that he can do, he planned on doing.

"It's a hard thing to do. See all the tiny little repercussions until they have piled up and are threatening to flood over. It needs time and faith."
