Crazy. Photographic color palette, but/and super imaginative. ❤️

wow new art. honestly I have no idea how this one survived, with a power outage literally 10 minutes before I was done, which eradicated 5 crucial layers.

And it is true that these pens can give you a super pleasant feel to write or sketch. But again, it's not going to make you see and sketch better per say.

Well if you go down the road of fancy expensive ink pens, it becomes a slippery slope, as this implies gold nibs and smooth experience on paper etc. Take the Pilot "Vanishing point" series for example.

it's great to a certain extant. but when it comes to more complex designs with let's say, many ellipsis, or intricate curves, you might need more underlying volumes and structure.

no, I just jump straight on the canvas and make a line and then another. I do "see" in perspective though, because of years of doing that stuff.

real paper doodles. different pens. I'm ashamed to admit that often the 5 bucks cheap one can compete with premium ink pens. To a certain degree, it's just not about the pen.

Donald Kingsbury sf-encyclopedia.com/entry/kingsb... was born on this day, so here's some related artwork (artist: Sparth, David B Mattingly, Paul Orban and Chris Foss). The 2nd is the cover art for "The Moon Goddess and the Son"; the 3rd from the June 1952 issue of Astounding for "The Ghost Town":

On a side note, i do not know what you have in store for the future, but I would definitely love to see some sort of "fill' features for painting volumes, as the painting process does take time.
the app is already perfect but can't wait to see anything you guys have in store.

It is amazing how you managed to push for the best intuitive logic for many features. congratulations. I'm already having more sketches on the way. ♥️

First test done with this awesome iPad Feather3d app. I admit having way too much fun there, especially for imaginary architecture layouts. It's also super pleasant to try the surfacing features and patterns. A small learning curve, but once it clicks, everything starts to make sense. #feather3d
