A big question asked over on the Threads platform. Too many characters for this platform, so I’m posting as a photo. Interesting exercise.
Diving into this deep cut BBC miniseries starring favorites Timothy Spall, Lindsay Duncan and Billy Whitelaw.

Good Lord, what madness rules in brain-sick men,
When for so slight and frivolous a cause
Such factious emulations shall arise!
A perfect day for a Rainbow Crosswalk Rally in Big D! 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
None of that screams stupid to me! I bet your collection is exemplary.
I am on my knees being nice to you right now 😇 However, I think I’m gonna go first. I can leave you some numbered film posters an my Caligula collection 😆
I need more Criterion hard media.
You weren’t fucking around!
Good ol’ Criterion has it. So glad I subscribe!
Oh yes and fuck, my parents used to smoke their Benson & Hedges menthol lights and More ciggies with the windows up 🚬🚬🚬
Shoot the Moon and Nowhere were my faves of the week.
Freaking cutie! I started early too…drinking from the beer can my parents had in their car while driving me to and from with no seatbelt law and legit let me sit on the console in the middle of the front seat 😆
The Virgin Spring looks incredible.
Oh yes! I saw Lindsay Mendez in Carousel and fell in love with her talent.
These petty bitches will get their day!

The philosophy of Helen Mirren 🙌
•Nowhere - Love the total commitment to the the stylization
•Shoot the Moon - The film I ran to when I learned of the death of the great Diane Keaton
•Requiem for a Dream - My 19 yo. requested it 😱
•The Woman in Cabin 10 - good or bad, I like a chaotic boat story

Appreciated the total commitment to the style of this film. The cast is chock-full of young very famous actors. Makes me kind of wish I was a bit more naughty in high school.

Nowhere (1997)
Writer & Director: Gregg Araki
Oh, I smiled reading that you have picked films purely by cover art and taglines. Sometimes I overthink my film choices. A great way to not do that. Noted!
I believe I had the same reaction. It’s a film I suggest to folx who ask for my suggestions, knowing full well what I am getting them into 😆
Thank you! Enjoy. It’s a film that has really stuck with me.
