Coming home tonight after an afternoon of chasing thunderstorms near Socorro, New Mexico. Lots of hail and rain, but few bolts. The afternoon still had its reward. This scene is unfolded over the Isleta Pueblo.

Great photo. I think he passed the course! You may have seen it but there's a wonderful book about the subsequent dust bowl period: The Worst Hard Times by Timothy Egan. Really heartbreaking story about what the farmers endured.
