If you want a beautiful walk without it being too strenuous I would recommend a walk round Buttermere. Every time I have been there it is absolutely stunning. In my photo there are reflections of the fells, trees, sky with clouds and the fencing in the foreground.

This morning's light was an absolutely beautiful amber glow for just a few moments while the sun was low on the horizon. Even the dried out pokeweed looked poetic.

A love–hate relationship with cycling in this country.
Overflowing bike racks or bikes casually dumped along a canal or street so everyone trips over them.
That often couldn’t-care-less way of riding.
But they do look great
in pics😉

Once essential to the rhythm of daily life
it now stands unloved and forgotten
swallowed by time
