A dog’s paw print on a Roman clay tile 🐾 🐕 😍

About 2,000 years-ago, a dog made its mark for ‘pawsterity’ when it wandered across the wet tile laid out to dry before firing.

Attention Alphabetters!
Mon 24 Nov is the start of Week V and the theme for the #AlphabetChallenge is Vowels. So the subject of your pic must start with a vowel e.g. apple; earring; Inverness; otter; umbrella. Anything at all but with a vowel first. Easy Peasy!
Use the # below and have fun😊

Seeing the story of the dog on The Mary Rose was not on my bingo card this morning.

Yet, here we are. Say hello to Hatch. 👀🐕
Have you seen our dog?

If not, you should, he's awesome!

'Hatch', a terrier/whippet cross, was found outside the carpenter's cabin, and was the ship's ratter. He was also a good boy. Yes, he was.
