Affleck and Damon are true movie stars and bring the heat here. While the movie is a tad formulaic in the reveal if you clock, the high octane tension is great. The cast is tremendous and truly does make the film worth the investment. It is a streaming movie so worth the time.

A film that spends 80 percent of the run time building tension throws it all away for a "twist".
It starts off so strong and then just unwinds after what was supposed to be the turning point. Riz Ahmed deserved better as he turned in one amazing performance. It sucks the ending let him down.

Thompson and Bernthal are terrific in this series. It is really heavy at times. The themes play into trauma, loss, healing and the unhealthy ways people begin to cope with all of those things. Both are given hard hitting scenes that are hard to watch. Very well done.

I have decided to do a new series on my blog highlighting the differences in book to screen adaptations. I am starting with the Harry Potter series and then will move onto other books turned into movies from there. I just wanted to change up my format.

I don't like to speak too much about personal stuff on social media after I was hacked a few years ago, but 2025 has been a rough start. I have a lot to be thankful for as well, and I am working towards adjusting my goals and getting back on track.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man is a brand new take on the character and I am absolutely here for it. This show is what we need. Refreshing takes on classic characters who have existed for so long. Keep the fundamentals the same and tell a unique story. This proves it is all possible.

Check out the new show Paradise if you have the chance. Sterling K. Brown is amazing and there is so much potential in this plot. Digging it so far. 2/3 premiere episodes down thus far. Watching the other later today.

A Real Pain was a solid movie where Keiran Culkin was able to shine in various moments. Ultimately, though, it never quite elevated beyond a few heavy moments where the characters experience the weight of history.
