It would have taken former xDefiant executive producer Mark Rubin less time to read the story than it did to write this long but inaccurate tweet. As the actual story says, the team that would go on to make Dispatch worked on Splinter Cell in 2017, two years before Rubin even joined Ubisoft.

While much of this is true, I think the western gaming industry is just going to evolve. I think we are seeing a massive rise in indie titles and they may become the majority of big purchases outside of the few standouts. All speculation, of course and I'm no expert.
