So don’t be surprised when unconsenting parties feel uncomfortable with kink wear or dynamics being displayed in public, and especially at large scale public events. Kink does have a place in Queer identity, but to expect queer young people to be erased for your own comfort is kinda sad.

Kink and consent should go hand in hand, and if you go to a public venue that doesn’t expressly allow or promote such wear, you are involving unconsenting parties! It’s about you, as an adult being mature enough to know about a time and a place, and how much you should display.

It’s not a slippery slope, because the law is clear as day: creating gratifying simulated child sexual exploitation material is against the law [I don’t think this applies to educational material, such as signs of abuse etc]. That’s what the law is and what more countries should follow suit.

I’m in a very depressing part of my life where even though my sexual trauma FEELS like it should be in the past, my body just doesn’t want to forget. The amount of disgust and shame I feel at the thought of even touching myself is horrific (this isn’t helped by gender dysphoria)

if youre truly sex positive you have to accommodate people who view sex as a very private/personal/vulnerable thing for them for any variety of reasons and dont want to interact w it unless in a comfortable atmosphere & with people theyre comfortable with. and that's a value-neutral way to live too.
