Very happy to share that my wild hunt tapestry painting for the We're Here 2024 ( @neonhemlock.bsky.social ) cover has made it into Infected By Art Vol.14!

Bees 🐝
This art features 100 bees of various colors and shapes. These bees are designed in a cartoonish style, based on real species. The common name or species is written below the animals. Some bees are moving leaves, scraping plant hair, or sticking out their tongues. Some male bees have hairy faces and unusually shaped legs. There are also baby bees that have just hatched from their petal nests. Cute and colorful atmosphere. There are over 20,000 species of bees, so I only depicted a very small fraction of them!

Let it be known that it's inadvisable to ride a horse for about two hours after not being in the saddle for approximately 14 years. Let it also be known that if you do so, you'll be in A LOT of pain. For days 😅

...it was worth it. It was so, so, SO WORTH IT. I'd do it again. 😅😆🥰💜💜💜

From a recent wander down to Ullswater. End of the day clearing skies provided some lovely light over the Helvellyn range and great reflections. PS I nearly packed up and went home, patience and cold hands sometimes pays off

Sunset at Ullswater, clam conditions, started off very cloudy but as which is part of the course in winter the cloudy skies started to dissapear and provided some lovely golden light filtered through the clouds
