It was a beautiful Sunday in Portland. Farmer’s markets, the Portland Marathon, peaceful protests, and some views of Mt. Hood. This city is vibrant, peaceful, and resilient. We do not need a federal occupation, and we sure as hell don’t want one.

One thing that's probably important to add about Trump's address in Norfolk is the following quote. I do appreciate that the sailors immediately stopped clapping when he said it. bsky.app/profile/atru...

Fun Post! Those were the (Bo) days in A2! Was there '84-'86 and one of those years I think they were 6-6 and everyone thought the world was going to end. I was excited as my undergrad teams were something like a combined 6-34 :-) Hope you're enjoying being back - The law school is gorgeous.

You mean by having an educated populace? An independent press that isn't owned by oligarchs? Sigh. We voted in someone who tried to overthrow the government and cheered on death threats to his Vice President. How do we prevent that in a democracy?

I know at UVa, the Board of Visitors is appointed by the Governor (Youngkin), so there's a very conservative bunch in their leadership at the moment and with elections coming next month, they seem to be seizing the opportunity while they can. It won't go over well with most students and faculty.

I'm looking forward to your insights on the administration's recent "overture" to the 9 universities. Jefferson must be rolling in his grave over the suspension of our inalienable rights.

Past tense at this point, of course. Two additional questions after naming the pedophiles, who has the videos and who stands to profit from them by controlling so many in our government?

Between this meeting and the shutdown, we are once again, farther from the promise of our Constitution. Thank you for providing another historical record for these extraordinary times.

Since it is the end of the month and I have a few articles to gift, this is a very worthwhile interview to listen to and contemplate.

Certainly is starting to feel like Epstein is going to be a common denominator to the group of men responsible for this chaos and destruction of democracy. They would do better to confess and relieve themselves of the guilt that is burdening them and making us all miserable.

We don't want the Amelia Earhart files, MLK files, Kennedy files, and UFO files released. There's only one set of files that matter - and that's the Epstein Files. Surely someone can find a way to get that out. Where's this generation's Deep Throat?

Government shutdown and recalling military leadership in the same week seems pretty ominous, especially as Putin is testing defense lines.

If his lips are moving and all... but still, an interesting change of message. Why and why now? Just another confuse a cat move or something more? It's not like he was holding anything back at the UN. Oh well, in the meantime, release the files!
