Reminding people that correcting the misnaming Norse people as Vikings isn't a pedantic issue of calling a cat a cat, it's about mischaracterisation of Medieval Scandi culture as a bunch of bloodthirsty barbarians. You can call actual vikings vikings when they're essentially pirates.
