A lot of simmers collect their things in threads and turn off the replies, so I just wanted to give some info on this
When someone creates a thread of reposts, where the thread has replies disabled, it means that replies are welcome on the actual posts, not that they're not welcome at all

I want to clarify that I'm not asking for help, I'm just indirectly talking about my story. While I'm not against getting tips, there are millions of poses and animations out there, so if I don't specify what I'm looking for, no one but me can find what I'm looking for
I've had this idea for a story scene for a while, that I don't know how to do justice at all. I can't find any fitting Maxis nor custom animations or poses, so I guess I'll have to do it myself, but I'm a newbie, it takes so much mental energy to make poses 😵💫 Plus I prefer animations over poses

No more group activities, from now on I'll only play 1-2 sims at a time 🫠
I did manage to solve the movie night issue though, with the help of an extra chair and a picnic blanket, but I don't want to micromanage my sims like this, I just want to play and still have them act somewhat like people

Like, what am I doing wrong? Is the sofa too close to the TV? Is the TV too close to the elevator, which makes them get up to change back to shoes? The Steady Seat mod doesn't even stop them from getting up

How can it be so difficult for six sims to sit down, in front of the TV, to watch a movie together, without either sitting where it doesn't make any sense or standing? I guess Jayden and Zoe can be excused because of their lack of the Genius Trait.

In 2025 I learnt how to edit meshes in Blender, such as removing the accessories from Emily Parcel's hair and giving Grim nails, I learnt how make recolours, and I learnt how to make poses

Does anyone know if there's a mod that makes it so that I can choose which slippers my sims wear indoors? I don't like that it's different slippers every time. Or maybe there's a mod that makes them remove their shoes in all outfits except for the ones where they wear slippers (usually sleepwear)?

- Delete your cache files after removing mods
- Backup your save games
- Don't report new issues on a game you haven't tested without mods/cc

There have been a lot of explicit nsfw posts on two of my #TheSims feeds lately. They're flagged properly, but I still want to check with those of you who follow those feeds. How do you feel about the excessive amount of explicit posts? Should I ban some tags to get rid of it or should I leave it?

Since we saw Goldie in yesterday's update, I would like to know, how do you interpret their personality?
Since they haven't appeared much (I wish I had fewer sims to play with so that they could've appeared more before this), I assume that you don't have a clear idea of their personality yet

If you use GMail, AI (Gemini) was turned on yesterday by default and now scans all of your content for machine learning. To turn off, go to Settings>General and scroll down. Uncheck the box for "Smart features."
There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.
