Applications are still being accepted for our VetExplore 2026, a 3-day programme at the Aberdeen campus for boys in S3 being held from 31st March to 2nd April 2026.There are 30 available places.

We’re delighted that SRUC has been awarded the Queen Elizabeth Prize for Education for the third time.

The award recognises the impact of the Scottish Farm Business Survey, which informs national agricultural policy and supports reform across the sector.

Applications are open for VetExplore 2026, a 3 day programme for S3 boys interested in vet medicine (31 March–2 April).

With only ~20% male students in UK vet schools, VetExplore aims to inspire boys, showcase vet careers and offer application guidance.

New SRUC research reveals male and female rats respond differently to tickling!

The study found both sexes enjoy tickling — but males prefer rougher play, while females respond better when pinning is minimised.
