What hit me hardest about Sonic Frontiers is that the game makes it clear that time has passed. It’s all little details, like Sage saying Tails has known Sonic most of his life, or Sonic saying he wasn’t expecting Tails to grow up so fast. As an older sibling…damn! Yeah! That’s how it feels!
