Huge thanks to the 20 litter heroes who gathered in Kingston's Fairfield Recreation Ground on World Cleanup Day (20 Sept). Thanks to their fantastic efforts, we removed 5 big bags (incl. 2 full of recycling) from the park, plus a chair & barriers. 𝗡𝗘𝗫𝗧 𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗣𝗜𝗖𝗞: Sat 15 Nov, 2-3pm.

Great to see two new cycle hangars arrive in Norbiton! With each one smaller than a single car park space yet providing secure cycle parking for 6 bikes, they'll be available for local residents to book (£50/year) via www.bikenest.co.uk from 10am on 15 July. #GreenerKingston

Did you know cyclists are up to 83% less likely to have their bike targeted and stolen if it is visibly Bike Register marked? Kingston police will be doing free bike marking outside Norbiton Station from 1-2pm this Friday 16 May.

After 32 litter heroes helped us collect 4 bags of rubbish in March (2 of recycling), why not join the next Fairfield litter pick on Saturday 10 May from 2-3pm & help us keep this popular park pristine. #Kingston #LoveWhereYouLive

With the KCAH night shelter operating across two central sites this winter in Kingston, there's still a chance to help. This video shows my shift at The Hub when it first opened. If you can volunteer your time or make a hot meal for their dinner, visit kcah.org.uk/winter-night...

Exciting times on the Cambridge Road Estate as the pedestrian & cycling access between Washington Road (off Hawks Road) & Piper Road (leading to Bonner Hill Road & Kingston cemetery) reopens after two years! ✨ #Norbiton

So pleased that Kingston Council & Norbiton councillors have responded to local resident concern by relocating the Kingston Cemetery defibrillator to the other side of the pedestrian gate, ensuring it's easier to see & can always be accessed 24/7. A potentially lifesaving move. ❤️‍🩹🙏

Whether your new year's resolution is to spend more time outdoors or to help make your local neighbourhood even nicer, everyone's welcome at this Saturday's litter pick in Kingston's Fairfield (Sat 11 Jan, 2-3pm).

Having seen utility companies use the limited green space around the Cambridge Road Estate to dump their materials for long periods of time - seemingly with impunity - we definitely agree that more needs to be done by councils to protect local trees.
