Cycling really does give you wings! Watching a toddler soar up front whilst a retired tandem duo found their turbo mode was a definite ride highlight. Magical to see bikes bring out the joy in everyone, at every age, on this fun Kingston ride. @londoncycling.bsky.social @kingstoncycling.bsky.social

Having attended CPR / defib training on Monday, plans to include it in UK driving theory tests seem inspired. Next step to make the Dutch Reach a mandatory part of driving tests too rather than just a Highway Code recommendation..? #SaferRoads #Cycling

Just 5 minutes in Dordrecht was more than enough to disprove the popular British myth that over 60 is too old to cycle. In fact, the 30-60 age group in the Netherlands ride the least, and Dutch women generally use a bike more than men. 💪🚲👵

These photos, taken yesterday, seems a pretty accurate representation of the respect given to cycle lanes across Kingston at the moment, which seem more regularly blocked than I remember. [FYI @kingstoncycling.bsky.social]

The joy of adding a dead tree* to garden table & sofa on the ever-growing list of things I've taken to the dump on my festival trolley during one of Kingston Council's 45min pedestrian / cyclist weekend windows...

Such a touching ceremony honouring the life of @timcyclesthecoast.bsky.social this afternoon. Far too many parallels with my own brother's life. I like to think they've formed the most formidable yet friendly bike-touring pub quiz team wherever their travels have taken them. Top Guns together. ✨🚴♂️💔
The memorial for Tim will be on 14th March at 2.30pm at Great Glen crematorium, Leicester, then afterwards at the Cow and Plough in Stoughton.
