Knowing them, I wouldn't be surprised. It would also be ironic, since from what I've heard, the short is meant to rip on AI & art theft in general, which makes sense given the teaser shows the Turtles being dismayed at seeing distorted versions of themselves marketed for profit without their consent

I also wanna thank my gf for introducing me to Kiff, that silly little squirrel who she adores so much has changed my life. Not quite in the way characters like Wander, Anne Boonchuy, and Stan Dogwithablog have, but still in a positive way.

ltimately if I had to choose between DC's two big slice of life toons out rn, I'd pick Kiff bc it's just nice little comfort food. I know comfort food is a little too vain of a reason to choose fav shows, but it doesn't matter what the food is so long as it's cooked well.

I guess that's something that happens when you get up to 4 seasons going on 5 and you start running out of stories and character options. No offense to the show proper that Season 4 finale made me cry.

The main characters of BCG are admittedly more relatable and I do get why. And individually BCG's characters are stronger than Kiff's, but in their interactions I just get this overarching feeling across multiple episodes they just really hate each other.

Also the vibe is just better for me honestly. It really captures that 'young kid finding joy and vastness in the small things' aesthetic they're going for. The world makes no sense and I want it to make no sense, because every logical explanation just muddies it up more.

Hot take but Kiff clears Big City Greens by a country mile. Now do I like both shows? Yes. Is my controversial claim in part to BCG's oversaturation on DC? Yes. Does BCG do emotional episodes better than Kiff? Yes. But if I may offer my argument, Kiff...is...king yo.
