I re-listened to all of Prison of Plastic's audiobook recently, and had an idea to draw Lori to Jakeneutron's "Play My Way", the lyrics felt fitting for some reason

wanted to do a comic of the rest of the bright flower interaction... was pondering how the king would preserve the flower

the king from in stars and time looks down at a small flower that had been given to him. he says, "bright one.... no matter how this battle ends...." he looks up. "will you remember me?" he finishes asking.

siffrin looks up at the king and is silent at first, but finally says "yes." the king looks surprised, then he smiles, more tears falling from his face. "ha..." he chuckles.

the king brings the flower now sitting in his palm closer to his face. he lets one of the tears rolling down his face fall onto the flower. the tear freezes, and freezes the flower within it. the king lets the frozen tear lift into the air, him and siffrin both looking up at it.

the king says, "let us make this battle a moment worth remembering, then!" his face lights up with a smile, a glimpse of his eye becoming visible from behind his cascading hair.
