Tor Bjørnsen He/they - 6'2"/189 cm - Mid-twenties Tor grew up in a small town in the rural far northern reaches of Norwedenmark, and left for university as soon as he could (being the first in his family to do so). Now, they study the region's flora and fauna, often conducting work in the field. Still, they maintain a close connection to their old life, and visit home when they can just to make sure everything's okay. Away from home, he has to deal with constant assumptions from strangers regarding his intelligence once they learn about his upbringing. While Tor couldn't be farther from that stereotype, with their sharp memory and their extensive knowledge of the natural world, they would be lying if they said it didn't get to them a little bit. But he's too busy to pay it much mind. Likes: driving aimlessly, biology, hard rock Dislikes: closed-mindedness, black licorice, violence

an old map depicting an alternate-earth version of europe. the shape of the landmass is roughly similar, but there are some major differences, including the british isles being flipped horizontally and greece being relocated onto the baltic sea, which is itself much larger. some cities are named differently as well: london as “nylon”, berlin as “linden”, and oslo as “kaupang”. somebody’s escape plan is drawn over the map in blue ballpoint pen, with arrows pointing away from dederon, a small coastal country. one leads southwest towards a point labeled “ari wohnt hier!” (“ari lives here!”)
