I haven’t done much 3D art or game dev in months. I’ve basically given up. Maybe some day I’ll get back, but I’ve fallen out of love with it all, as a tech artist and just in 3D Art. I’ve given up trying to get into it career-wise. I’m sorry if it’s a let-down, for everyone who believed in me.

The big items:
* Indirect Draw (GPU driven rasterization)

If you want to play around with the FSR stuff, there's a "AMD FSR" technique in the Gigi Browser.

Wow uh that blew up. Well..regarding my last post, I'm going to try and spend less time here, and more time trying to take steps to become me again. I'll still be here for the important stuff or memes during my down time lol. Part of becoming me again is a damn JOB tho so here's that portfolio lmao

Well under way! This cue is SUPER old, like from 2005, so I don't have the original session. I'm having to recreate every synth part by ear, but I'll take some liberties here and there.

The environment detail in the new Elder Scrolls: Oblivion remake is completely astounding. If only the customized characters shared this trait in common >_>;

I'm far from my blog's hay day, which largely comes from me not writing as much as I used to, but the most popular article of mine in the traffic that I do get is about interleaved gradient noise as a different type of low discrepancy object.
Glad to see it!

One of my favourite things to do when making a landscape is to run a Brush Stroke mask texture into a Height Lerp for the blend. This means that the blend will look like each layer is painted into the landscape instead of just linearly interpolated. Takes 30s and adds a lot to the scene! #UETips

I *really* wish they’d bring the Epic Games store over to Linux. It’d make my transition over the very, very large Windows fence a helluva lot easier, because managing multiple Unreal Engine 5 installs and all the plugins would actually be do-able, then. T__T
