In September 2023, geophysicists across the world started monitoring a very odd signal coming from the ground under them.

For "Echoplex" on NIN's 2008 “Lights in the Sky” tour, we created a real functioning drum sequencer with virtual buttons for drummer Josh Freese to build the song’s beat in real time. I designed the drum machine’s interface based on the minimalist visual style I created for “The Slip” album art. 1/
