Obviously not finished, and there's still time for this story to step in it, but after getting to the biggest reveals so far in Judgment I can say confidently that it is far and away the best written story in the RGG series I've played.

As a kid who grew up in the 90s, I really cannot overstate how incredible it was that we got a video game movie that didn't suck. Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa absolutely oozed charisma and charm as Shang Tsung.
Just incredibly bummed to hear of his passing, a legend for any 90s video game nerd.
