Aha! Well that’s saved you a trip and an awkward conversation with a nerd in a hi fi shop! The link I posted has a shed load of good reviews on too. I know it’s double and a half what you wanted to pay but our kids have had those Crossley ones and they last 6 mths and sound shit so 🤷‍♂️

I think I remember you being from Brumish area - if you google for hifi shops there are loads. Maybe try and find one that does these or similar and go and have a listen before you buy.

The speakers have amplifiers built in so you’d just have the record deck and them. I haven’t heard one but i bet they’re 20x better than any cheap built in speaker ones.

All of those built in speaker ones sound bloody terrible, like much worse than what you’re used to hearing playing thru a cheap Bluetooth speaker from your phone. If you don’t want to pay hundreds for a deck, amplifier and speakers I’ve just spotted this…
